The Owner wanted to square-up the awkward arched cased openings to match the trim detailing through the remainder of the house. They also wanted the Living Room to have a full shiplap detail. This was not exactly easy as there was some settling over time, and the room’s walls, ceiling, and floor were not level and square. ESHI’s expert carpentry team found the best place to level the shiplap for the viewer, and they were able to cheat the difference in ways that make it unnoticeable.
